North America

PCCW Global extends connectivity to the whole of the U.S. and more than 90% of Canada via a tier-1 network of IP and technology-neutral MPLS points-of-presence (PoPs).

We serve enterprise and wholesale customers from a full IP suite that includes dedicated Internet access, IP transit, IP/MPLS VPN, hosted PBX and wholesale voice services, along with significant fiber assets providing connectivity throughout Asia and other world markets.

PCCW Global also ofers MPLS Layer 2 Ethernet and wire services that bridge with regional deployments in Latin America and South West Asia – and is able to establish a PBX service in the U.S. that integrates with a regional voice service in Asia and bridges to Europe.

Based in Herndon, Virginia, our network operations center supports PCCW Global’s fast-growing IP network and transmission backbone, which draws capacity from some 10 different providers to ensure fiber and PoP diversity.

We also preside over substantial capacity on both the East and West Coasts using different cable systems that terminate at unique PoPs. Our transpacific traffic, for example, runs on JUS, TGN and China U.S. cable systems to Asia, while transatlantic capacity connects to our PoPs in Europe.

In addition to our IP networking capability, PCCW Global provides International Ethernet Private Line (IEPL) service within the U.S. that connects to Asia and Europe. This is ideal for companies requiring secure and dedicated connectivity for high bandwidth traffic, such as IT and finance industry players.

Most of our peering relationships with major U.S. carriers are high quality, of a private nature and are spread across several hundred peering points worldwide.

Latin America

Rapid growth in Latin American has been achieved by establishing strong ties with local partners that have blossomed into large-scale PCCW Global coverage of key markets such as Brazil and Mexico.

As well as offering a full suite of enterprise and wholesale solutions, we supply regional service providers with global IP connectivity, as well as a global MPLS Layer 3 solution that extends into Europe and the Confederation of Independent States (CIS).

PCCW Global meets the growing IP needs of markets in Central and South America by establishing points of presence in multiple peering locations that include Miami, along with Dallas, McAllen and Laredo in Texas. Maximum availability is provided via high-speed connectivity agreements with a large number of Latin American partners.
